Shiri Appleby (born December 7, 1978 in Los Angeles, California) is an actress best known for her leading role as Liz Parker in the Roswell television series.
Shiri and her younger brother, Evan, were raised by their parents Dina and Jerry Appleby in San Fernando Valley (just outside of Los Angeles, in Los Angeles County). Jerry is a telecommunications executive and Dina is a school teacher.
