Neve Adrianne Campbell (born October 3, 1973) is a Canadian film and television actress. She was born in Guelph, Ontario; her father Gerry is from Glasgow, Scotland and her mother Marnie is from Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Campbell began her public life as a dancer - she trained at the National Ballet School of Canada and featured in performances of The Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty.
